About the Journal

Aims and Scope:
The aim of the Sumerian Journal of Medicinal and Chemical Sciences (Sumerian J Med Chem Sci) is to foster the growth of educational, scientific, and industrial research activities among chemists and to provide a medium for mutual communication between the Arab World academia, and the industry on the one hand, and the world scientific community on the other.
The SJMCS publishes papers on all aspects of fundamental and applied chemistry. The journal is naturally broad in scope, welcomes submissions from across a range of disciplines, and reports both theoretical and experimental studies. The Journal welcomes unpublished original research articles; research notes or short communications, and topical or interpretative review articles in all established areas of chemistry and related fields in English.

Journal History:
Sumerian Journal of Medicinal and Chemical Sciences was founded in 2025 by Dr. Raed Muslim Muhiebes who served as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal. This journal is the first chemistry and Medicine journal in all areas of chemistry that completely covers the entire Arab world, especially Iraq. This journal was established by the Iraqi Scientific Research Association (ISRA) and Farname Inc. Scientific Publications.

While the Iraqi Scientific Research Association (ISRA) is responsible for scientific decision makings, the journal is sponsored by Farname Inc. The indexing and technical process of publication is done by Farname Inc.
